Where does a person get barista training?
Jan 27th, 2010 by Coffee Lover
The world is being inundated with more and more specialty coffee stores and cafes serving espresso drinks. And every new espresso machine that comes into this world has at least one barista pulling the shots. Where do all those baristas learn their craft?
I’m guessing it isn’t Starbucks, because many of their machines pull automated shots. So who out there is teaching the science? Where do aspiring entry-level baristas go to learn coffee-slinging?
There are a lot of Coffee Beanerys that have manual machines. I worked at one and learned all the "trade secrets". They will teach you everything when you start to work there or if you open your own Coffee Beanery.
