@LMP1769 ther is a setting for the RX / TX antennas in the advanced wireless settings that control this, i usaully run it on auto and have not fully tested signal quality using this feature. The hardware features suggest that the router itself is smart enough to choose for you , but i speculate that as with ANY dual antenna radio the more separation between them the better they will work… if you like it would be great for you to post your findings on my wrt54g-tm page in a comment.

@ROCKNTV1 Iam connecting to an open netgear router via wireless. Iam going to be using a antenna from the point of where the router is. It is set up as an AP. I will be running a cable from the antenna to the right side of the wrt54g. What would be the right config for dd-wrt router? The CO. I got the antenna & cable from talk wifi diversity. Any clue on this would be a big help dude. Much thanks for ur time!

make sure you are running repeater BRIDGE MODE
and you have set up virtual interface for your repted signal to work thru
