What bullshit, Free Wifi? Lets not encourage those bastards on iBooks. Always cluttering up the place for everyone else, they make a single coffee last 3 hours whilst no one else has a place to sit.

Sweetness. I loved the old rewards program, but this is even better.
One question: Does your star count ever reset, like, for example, ever year, or does it just keep counting up as long as you use your registered gift card?

Hmm. I can see many customers asking their drink and pastry to be rung up separately to obtain stars faster. Good thinking, Starbucks…Oh well, more labour for us!!
They took the …
They took the original Gold Card which had 10% off on all purchases store wide and turned it into this punch card system. A system that Starbucks had previously said they would NEVER do. No matter how you look at it, one star per transaction (Not per item), equals a punch card. And so you know, the ‘free’ drink will be mailed to you in the form of a postcard. You cannot immediately use your 15 stars for a free drink. Don’t Drink the Kool Aid!!

Well, it’s better …
Well, it’s better than what you had, but still misses the mark. I spend anywhere from $16-$25 a visit, 3-4 visits a week – I spend about $250 a month at Starbucks (have the registered card history to prove it), but instead of rewarding heavy spenders who buy 4-5 drinks a visit, you reward per visit. Guess that means I’ll have my drinks rung up seperately, one..at…a…time, all 5 drinks a visit just to make sure I get all the stars that are due me.
