Ben Folds “Free Coffee” live

I wasn’t really crazy about this song until the concert, because the piano is all weird and distorted, and i thought it was just a synthesizer overpowering the piano. But it turns out, Ben Folds puts altoid cans on the strings inside the piano and then puts on a distortion pedal, which is how he creates that weird twangy sound.
I dunno about you, but i thought that’s pretty cool.
