I have one and I like it.
It depends on how big of a coffee drinker the person getting the gift is.

Hi,
Great gift for a person that’s a coffee lover…..Green Mountian Coffee Roasters coffee is the best too!

yeah, for sure! Keurig coffee machines are the best.

They make a great gift for any coffee drinker. The most important thing to note is the price per cup vs a traditional coffee maker as it is more expensive to use the kcups. Having used both the "pod style" and "cup style" individual coffee makers I’d definitely go with the keurig version (kcup) if you can afford it.

Great for someone who drinks one or two cups a day, not so good for someone who has a lot of company.

Oh I wanted soooooo badly to get one for my aunt, but I don’t have enough money. They are selling it at Costco for $129.00. Its Kuerig. I think it is sooooo neat. I will get it for her after the holidays. I think it is a wonderful gift for a coffee drinker; and especially because she likes different flavor coffees.

They are convenient, but as someone else pointed out, much more expensive than a traditional coffee maker. The Keurig and the Flavia ones I’ve tried both make very good coffee and have a good variety of coffees to choose from. One other issue is that they generate more waste than a traditional coffee maker, so are not very good for the environment. Not sure if that is a concern for you or your friend, but something to consider.

It is a very nice gift for most people. I think that the Keurig coffee makers are the best choice since there is a lot of different coffee flavors around (around 200) + there is also an option to use your own coffee (if you buy a special filter for it). The user reviews for the Keurig coffee makers are in general very good – although there are some people who find the coffee too weak (but get these complaints for all the single serve coffee makers).
