Coffees and Cream

In 2009, as part of the Class gift, Binghamton University Senior Class Council president Bradley Small spearheaded a fund-raising effort to establish the John Arthur Cafe.
Arthur, who died in 2007, taught philosophy at Binghamton and was director of the Philosophy, Politics and Law Program from 1988 until 2006.
Bradley documented his final weeks at Binghamton leading up to Commencement and his presentation of the gift to University President Lois B. DeFleur
The John Arthur Cafe offers students, faculty and staff the opportunity to meet indoors or out to share a cup of coffee, talk and debate.
