Does eating coffee beans give you energy?
Feb 14th, 2010 by Coffee Lover
I’m wondering if I can just like, swallow coffee beans for the caffeine.
Has anyone tried it? I’ve eaten instant coffee–very good results but I’m not sure about whole coffee beans.
I mean like, swallowing them, not chewing them.
Yes, to a certain extent. Get lighter roasted beans as they have a higher concentration of the energy drug! Don’t consume too much or it will cause your heart to race and could be dangerous at that point. Caffeine has recently been shown to be a natural performance enhancer, making you stronger and giving you more stamina! Really!

They sell whole coffee beans covered in chocolate. My brother loves them.
I would try eating more healthy foods to give you more energy tho. Like more proteins.

It’s the brewing process that brings out the caffeine in coffee beans, so I’d think drinking the stuff would give more of a boost. Not sure about instant, though, as it’s just brewed coffee that’s been dehydrated and sold in powder form. (bleh, instant coffee!)
You’d get more caffeine taking one No-Doze tablet than a couple cups of coffee, not sure how that amount equates to in teaspoons/grams of instant coffee. (Again, bleh, instant coffee!)
